More Truffles from Istria

I have also been pointed to another post on Istrian truffles (white truffles this time) on this Croatian travel site. The article also includes a receipe for truffles with a type of pasta called FUŽI which is apparently typical of the Istria region.

Just to confuse all those poor souls who are just getting to grips with the difference between chocolate truffles and real truffles, Norwalk chocolatiers Knipschildt have come up with La Madeline au Truffe. The 1.9 oz (just over 50g) chocolate contains a French Perigord truffle costs $250 and was recognized by Forbes Magazine as the most expensive chocolate in the world.
