Kalahari truffles (Kalaharituber pfeilii)

A report by Tim Truluck on a desert truffle hunting trip in the Kalahari region of South Africa. They are known as !N’abbas in the local Nama language and only appear once every four years or more when they push to the surface, triggered by late summer rains.
